TYPES OF BALL BEARING UNITS:
1.Pillow blocks
Pillow blocks are most extensively used among the bearing units, UCP, UCPK, UCAK and SBLPG, these type are fixed to the shafts by means of the setscrews prepared in the innering. While, NAP, NAPK and SALPG types are fixed to the shafts by use of setscrews prepared in the eccentric locking caollar. UKP type is mounted to the shafts by use of adapter sleeves.
2. High center height pillow blocks
UCPH2, NAPH2, UKPH2+H
It is one type of pillow blocks with a higher center height.
3. Tapped-base pillow blocks
UCPA, NAPA2, UKPA2+H
UCPA2A
UCPG2
It has compact structure, saving mounting space. It can be fitted with bolts from the underneath of the base.
4. Square flange units
UCF2, NAF2, NAFU2, UKF2+H, SAF2G
UCFX
UCF3,NAF3,UKF3+H
These bearing units are designed to fix at the sides of the machine which are vertical to the center of the shafts by means of 4bolts. The muonting method is widely used in the machines. The setsrews, the eccentric locking collar and the adapter sleeve bearings have the same mounting method as the P housings do.
5. Round flange cartridge units
UCFC2, NAFC2, UKFC2+H
These bearing units are installed in the holes on the side of the places where concentricity is demanded.
6. Oval flange units
UCFL2, NAFL2, NAFLU2, UKFL2+H, SBFL2G
UCFL3, NAFL3, UKFL3+H
This type of housing is useful in saving space and weight. It can be installed by means of two bolts. The set bolt pitch is the same as that of the square flange type.
7. LF, LFTC, FD, PFTD and PFTD-G type two-bolt flange units are for use with SB (or SB-G) and SA (or SA-G) type inserts only

8. Flange bracket units
UCFB2
This type has three set holes on only one side of the flange. This type of bearing unit is used where the mounting space is limted, and the housing can be fixed on nly one side.
9. Adjustable flange units
UCFA2
This type has a two-bolt base with one side adjustable, enabling distance from center of shaft to be varied.
10. Take up units
UCT2, NAT2
UCK2
UCST2
This type is applied to the machines in which the center of main shaft needs free alignment.
11. Pressed housing pillow blocks
SAPP2, SBPP2
Pressed housings are with light weight and simple structure and consists of two pieces of pressed steel plantes. This type is applied to the machine whose rotating speed is lower or medium, or the machine with light load. The inserts for the pressed housings are usually SA or SB series.
12. Pressed housing round flange units
SAPF2, SBPF2
This type consists of two pieces of pressed steel plates, mounted with SA2 or SB2. It has light weight and simple structurem which is applied to the machine of which the rotating speed is low or mediem, of the machine load is light.
13. Pressed housing flange units
SAPGT2, SBPFT2
This type has the same function as the pressed round flange housing, It can be used where the mounting space is limited, because it takes smaller space.
14. Pressed housing oval flange units
SAPFL2, SBPFL2
This type has only two bolt holes. It needs much smaller mounting space. Its function is the same as the above-mentioned pressed flange husings.
15.Disk harrow units
Two pieces of pressed steel plates are riveted to form the housing fitted with "o" form rubber seals. It has four mounting bolt holes with tripple-lip seals inside. It can be relubricated through the grease nipple.
